I am grateful to God and to Christ Jesus, our Way-shower, also to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who gave us Christian Science.

At one time I apparently broke my leg, but after several minutes of praying and reaching out to God as we are taught in Christian Science, I realized that there are no accidents in divine Mind and was able to walk to my car. That night the condition was painful and seemed very real. I prayed as I had never prayed before, knowing that error has only the power we give it. The next morning, after several hours of praying, with the assistance of my daughter I was able to walk. Two days later I drove my automobile and two weeks later journeyed by train over three hundred miles to attend my association meeting. I walked up the stairs with some assistance, and at the close of the day ran down them, completely healed.

In Science and Health Mrs. Eddy writes (pp. 214, 215): "Neitherage nor accident can interfere with the senses of Soul, and there are no other real senses. It is evident that the body as matter has no sensation of its own, and there is no oblivion for Soul and its faculties. Spirit's senses are without pain, and they are forever at peace." Not until I realized that Spirit's senses are without pain was I able to walk away free. Jesus said (John 8:32), "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
