As a young girl I began to attend...
As a young girl I began to attend the Christian Science church services with my mother. Though I made no effort for some time to study Christian Science, I soon discovered that I was accepting many of its truths. After about two years I gave up all creeds and material methods and tried to live in accordance with Christian Science. Soon I realized that the frequent dizzy spells, sluggishness, and lack of vitality which I had had from childhood had disappeared. Shortly afterwards the use of glasses was abandoned through my refusing to see anything but God's image and likeness.
As physical and financial limitations were met and overcome and much fear was destroyed. I was led to accept a new type of position which I had always thought I could not fill. But God was guiding me, and a much broader education and experience than could have been humanly outlined resulted. Every difficulty was met by my knowing that God had already provided all good for me as His child and that I was always in my right place.
For the periodicals, which have many times been a source of needed inspiration, for the many branch churches which it has been my privilege to attend, for all the activities of The Mother Church, as well as for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, I am sincerely grateful.—(Mrs.) Mildred Montgomery McLane, Dallas, Texas.
