Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

A dream which had its beginning thirty-three years ago was realized when First Church of Christ, Scientist, Tracy, was dedicated. Two services were held on Sunday, June 25, 1950, commemorating the occasion, one at the regular hour in the morning and the other in the afternoon.

Because of the growth and interest of the membership of the society, a request was sent to The Mother Church in Boston for recognition as a branch church, which was granted in May, 1950.
