I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church.

When I first met a student of Christian Science, I had been going to doctors and had had operations for a tumor, which had put me in such a weakened condition that I spent most of my time in bed. I had given up expecting a healing as I had spent so much money with nothing but relief, and my funds were mostly used up.
