LECTURE PREPARATION
Fundamental preparation for a Christian Science lecture is not confined to the doing of material things. Although highly important, the arrangements are the manifestation of the real preparation, which is spiritual. When the metaphysical work is well done, harmony follows as a natural effect.
Divine Mind is the source of the truth in a lecture. Human consciousness does not invent or create the spiritual truths which are spoken and heard at a lecture. They are Mind-revealed. The true message is to be identified with its source, infinite Mind, God. The alert church member endeavors to turn his thought to the spiritual message. He listens to and for truth. And in proportion to the prayerful preparation by church members and the lecturer, fruitage will appear: inspiration will be active, understanding will unfold, and healings will result.
