I turned to Christian Science when all material aid failed me. I owe my life to this Science, and in sincere appreciation and gratitude I offer this testimony.

My first healing was of gallstones. The attacks were very severe, and I was unable to consume any solid food for days at a time. In this weakened and painful condition I was fearful of passing on.

Along with this trouble were other disorders of the physical system. I had consulted several physicians and specialists, but received no help and little encouragement. One specialist said that I could not live more than three weeks unless I was operated on and that if this operation were performed, he could not guarantee that it would be successful. Not knowing the outcome, and with a family that needed me, I did not want to go through with the operation.
