Los Angeles, California (Thirty-ninth Church, Colored).

Christian Science Society (Colored) has recently become Thirty-ninth Church of Christ, Scientist, Los Angeles. At the same time members announced its dedication on Sunday, July 3, 1949, with two services, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon.

Interest in the formation of a west side group for a Christian Science Society was first aroused through the efforts of one member in August, 1944.
