LOVE IS EVERYWHERE

Every Sunday Steve went to the Christian Science Sunday School. There he learned many truths of God and His spiritual idea, man. He learned that God is Love and is everywhere present; that man is the image and likeness of Love, or Love's reflection; that man is inseparable from Love, for Love is man's Life; that man is cared for and protected by Love, for Love is all-knowing Mind.

He was taught that Mary Baker Eddy was the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, and that spiritual, scientific facts or truths of God and man can be found in the Bible and in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," which Mrs. Eddy wrote nearly seventy-five years ago. His mother sometimes read to him a sentence from the Bible which comforts every boy and girl who knows it, because it tells them that where Love is there can be no fear. The sentence is in the New Testament and says, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear" (I John 4:18).

Steve's mother often reminded him that Love is everywhere. This means that there is no room for fear anywhere. We can never be afraid so long as we remember that we are always in Love's presence, safe and happy in Love's care.
