MORNING PRAYER
Dear
God, O restful, omniactive Mind,
May I go forth into this busy day
Reflecting Thee. Then every task shall find
Its own appointed time, and place, and way
All fitly framed within Thy perfect plan.
And so no sense of pressure, haste, or strain
Can cloud my vision of Truth's honest man
Or dim Love's shining through my windowpane.
Working within Thy kingdom, by Thy power,
To demonstrate Thy glory be my aim:
And good abundantly fills every hour,
Uplifting thought to praise Thy holy name.
