It is with a feeling of sincere gratitude that I wish to relate a part of the good that has come to us through the study and application of the truths of Christian Science. Without this help there would have been times when discouragement, doubt, and despondency would have been present. In place of these, the study of our textbooks, the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, has brought into our lives joy, happiness, freedom, peace of mind, and an improved concept of health.

In 1929, after attending several Christian Science church services, we felt certain this was the needed teaching for which we had been searching. We began at once to study and to apply what we were learning and to make preparations for joining The Mother Church and a branch church. These activities have brought us many blessings.

Putting the teachings of Christian Science into practice has brought satisfying solutions to many problems. In the beginning of our study, none of these problems were physical, but later this type of error manifested itself in several phases. Each condition was met and mastered, leaving no doubt as to the healing efficacy of this wonderful religion. It had been put to practical tests and had not been found wanting. Some of the early physical healings were of painful boils, migraine headaches, sties, colds, and the smoking habit.
