I am humbly grateful for the privilege of sending this attestation of Christian Science comfort and healing. My whole life has been blessed by the teachings of this wonderful Science of Christ. When I was a child, joy and good health were ever present in my experience. My unbroken record of school attendance was unusual. At the earliest age provided for in the Manual of The Mother Church by Mrs. Eddy, I availed myself of the protective foundation afforded by membership in The Mother Church. My years in the Christian Science Sunday School were happy ones, and I should here like to express thanks to my many teachers, who were alert and immediate in their answers to my questions.

Throughout the years of my academic education my interest in Christian Science was maintained. It was evident to me, because of constant proofs witnessed in my home and in other Christian Science homes, that this religion, as discovered by our remarkable Leader, Mrs. Eddy, contained the answers to all the riddles of human experience.

It was my delight to prove utterly false the argument that one must smoke and drink in order to enjoy a full social life, both in college and in the acting profession. Claiming my God-given freedom from am material laws of bondage, I never had the slightest temptation to smoke or drink. I am also grateful that I do not drink tea or coffee.
