My first testimony appeared in the Sentinel in 1931, but I want to celebrate my sixtieth wedding anniversary by expressing gratitude for the blessings my family and I have received during these many years through the study and application of the truths contained in the Bible and in the writings of Mary Baker Eddy. We have had many healings.

Our financial affairs have been cared for through Christian Science in a manner which would have been quite impossible according to material ways of thinking. Science has brought us peace of mind and the ability to place our trust in God.

About three years ago I was suffering from pneumonia, I must have been very near "the valley of the shadow of death," but my life was saved by the faithful work of a practitioner.
