Membership Brings Moral Strength

A young woman, her face beaming with happiness, said to her Sunday School teacher, "I was tempted to do something last week unbecoming to a Christian Scientist, but I remembered that I was a member of The Mother Church and must act as one, so I turned from the error." This young woman drew on the moral strength which membership gives and found not only deliverance from evil but the great joy of right doing.

Membership in The Mother Church strengthens the moral sentiments and enriches human life. These blessings may be had by fulfilling the requirements for membership set forth in the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, obtainable at any Christian Science Reading Room or from the Publishers' Agent.

Applicants are admitted to membership twice each year by The Christian Science Board of Directors. The next date of admission is June 3, 1949, and applications must reach the Clerk on or before April 25, 1949. However, to allow time for possible correspondence, applications and questionnaires should be forwarded without delay.
