I feel I have hesitated too long in sending in the written word of the joy, the peace, and the harmony that Christian Science has brought into my life.

Twenty-six years ago the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, was sent to me by a sister living in California. I had grown up in the theater, and at the time the textbook was sent to me I had a throat condition that always put me to bed at our busy season, during the winter months. The trouble was abscess of the throat, just through reading Science and Health I was healed, and there has been no return of this or any other physical problem.

I am truly grateful for the guidance I have received from Christian Science in changing my profession. My material as well as my spiritual education had been sadly neglected, but with the realization of true intelligence I found my rightful heritage. I have since been successful in each step I have taken. As stated on page 469 of Science and Health: "Intelligence is omniscience, omnipresence, and omnipotence. It is the primal and eternal quality of infinite Mind, of the triune Principle,—Life, Truth, and Love,—named God."
