ENTERTAINING GUESTS

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Summer days are full of fun for Judy and Freddy, who are eleven and eight years old. They like to swim, ride horseback, and play with their friends out of doors.

But some days are not so much fun for them, when error tempts them to quarrel. It is just as if the sun had gone under a cloud, and they don't see the good all around them because it seems so dark and gloomy. That's when Mother sends them to their rooms to turn the light on their thinking.

This light is the truth about God and His children. Judy and Freddy have learned in the Christian Science Sunday School that the truth is found in the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. They know that the cloud which seems to hide the perfection of God and His children is error. It is a wrong thought which would squeeze into their thinking when they do not carefully guard the door of consciousness.
