Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada (First Church).

Members of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Regina, dedicated their church building at services held in the morning and evening on Sunday, September 15, 1946. The First Reader recounted the history of Christian Science in this field as follows:

"Christian Science services were first held in this community in various private homes until June, 1909, when a Christian Science Society was formed. Services were then held in the Reading Room which had been opened in the Kerr block. In 1914, the Reading Room was moved to the McCallum-Hill Building and Sunday services were held in the McCallum-Hill Convention Hall. From June, 1917, to November, 1928, church services and Sunday School exercises were held in the Odd Fellows' Hall. In 1924, the society became a church, under the name of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Regina.

"January, 1927, marked the purchase of two lots on the corner of Angus Street and College Avenue. Construction of a church was begun in July, 1928, and in November of the same year the first services were held in the new church auditorium."
