On page vii of the Preface to the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy says, "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." I can gratefully say that through the study of Christian Science I have reached an understanding, to some extent, of the sustaining infinite, and can testify to the many blessings it has brought to me and to members of my family.

It was by divine Mind that I was directed when I was forced to establish a home and seek employment in a strange city. For many years, while doing sales work, I enjoyed sufficient daily supply to maintain a comfortable home. By absolute reliance on the truth of being we have experienced many physical healings, and I should like to relate a few.

When my younger son was about ten years old, the tendons in one of his legs were injured through an accident while at school. The leg was hanging limp. When someone suggested a bandage, the child looked at me and said, "Has a bandage more power than God?" I mentally thanked God for the understanding our children get of the healing truth in the Christian Science Sunday School. No bandages or material means were used. The child was healed and back in school within a week. When the same boy, grown up and a member of the armed forces, was reported seriously wounded in combat, Christian Science treatment was given by a practitioner here in the States. For about two weeks we received reports that his recovery was doubtful. I shall always be grateful to the consecrated worker who stood firmly with the healing Christ, Truth. In about two months this soldier was sufficiently recovered to be returned to his outfit.

I shall constantly be grateful that I had Christian Science to lean on when my two sons left home for military service. For four years I lived all alone. This experience gave me an opportunity to prove that God's children, forever at one with Him, cannot in truth be separated from each other, although physically they may be thousands of miles apart.

In whatever way I try to phrase my gratitude to our dear Leader for her discovery of Christian Science, words fail me. I pray that I may prove my appreciation of all she has done by my loyalty, faithfulness, and devotion to the church and Cause she established.—(Mrs.) Sofia Adler, Highland Park, Michigan.
