Of Good Report

The mail which pours daily into the office of the Clerk of The Mother Church brings with it heartening evidence of the love with which students of Christian Science are seeking to bear witness to the healing Christ in every part of the world.

Recently, for instance, a member of a distinguished Chinese family, who had been attending a North American university, applied for membership in The Mother Church. She had found healing in Christian Science, she wrote, and now she was returning to her ancestral home. She wanted to go back to China ready to serve the Cause as a member of The Mother Church.

Of Christian upbringing, this young Chinese woman said that she had found in the teachings of Mary Baker Eddy not only the fulfillment of her own prayers but blessings to share with many others. Already, members of her family had shown interest in the literature she had sent them. One relative had asked for information about the Christian Science services in Hong Kong.
