Gratitude!
The very word
Is musical to hear.
But when it grows into a deed,
The singing heart will bear
It to completion in a song
Of testimony, given
To feed another hungry thought
And lift it into heaven.
This melody of flowing good
From Life, and Love, and Truth
Is telling of its healing power
And offering the proof
Gratitude, the song of songs.
Will crown the coming days
Until the very earth will join
The symphony of praise.
