KNOWING GOD ARIGHT
There
was a time each day was streaked with night;
Fruitless toil and shattered hopes my plight.
No coward I, but it was hard to see
Each traveled path end at Gethsemane.
The reason was I knew not God aright.
But having learned that God is Life and Love,
And glimpsed the truth which Jesus came to prove,
I walk inspired with footsteps strong and free
The guiding path which leads to Bethany.
This be my prayer, to worship God aright.
May Edwards
