BILLY PROVES THE TRUTH
[Of Special Interest to Children]
Billy was very happy over his new bicycle, because now he could ride to school with David, who was his friend and next-door neighbor.
One day someone took David's bicycle while the two boys were playing on the school grounds. After that Billy was afraid he might lose his, too, so he was careful to lock it before leaving it in the bicycle rack.
Now Billy had been attending the Christian Science Sunday School since he was three years old. and there he had learned the Beatitudes and the Ten Commandments. His Sunday School teacher had explained that the first five commandments are laws to govern our thinking toward God and the last five commandments are to govern our thinking toward men. And the Beatitudes, she had told the class, are the blessings we receive when we obey God's laws.
