My gratitude for Christian Science...

My gratitude for Christian Science is so great that I should like to add my testimony to the thousands I have read in our periodicals.

Because of a great fear of poverty and limitation, which quite suddenly replaced a material abundance that I thought was assured for life, I became a student of Christian Science. I have learned in the last thirteen years that true substance is infinite and can never be taken from us. This realization dispelled all fear that my needs would not be met and brought peace and joy. It resulted in a business being presented to me in which I could be active and still take full charge of my small daughter. A new automobile was given to me when we needed it, also a new home, and many other material necessities, all without a bank account to draw upon. I now know as a student of Christian Science that we possess enduring riches when we understand that true substance is forever unfolding, and that man has only that which is good.

The first healings I experienced through the study of Christian Science were those of constipation and ivy poisoning. Both of these difficulties were most severe at times during my childhood. The healing of ivy poisoning came through the realization that in God's universe, the only creation there is, all is good.
