Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication
Texas
Newspaper editors continue to manifest respect for Christian Science, and it is a pleasure to report that no article has appeared which warranted a correction from this office.
It is with regret that the Committee reports continued efforts by a few of the clergy to use the facilities of the radio to misrepresent the teachings of Christian Science and its Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. On one occasion the Assistant Committee called on a minister whose assistant had grossly misrepresented Christian Science. The minister made apology for the incident and said that he would see that such statements were not repeated. He accepted the loan of Dr. Powell's biography of Mrs. Eddy and concluded the interview most cordially.
