It is seldom nowadays that anyone shows such a sad lack of knowledge of, and prejudice with regard to, Christian Science as does a minister who, in his article entitled "The Religion of the Japanese," in one of your recent issues, introduces a wholly uncalled-for unnecessary, and incorrect statement to the effect that Christian Science is similar to Shinto.

No informed writer would make such an egregious error as to liken Shinto to the religion of Christian Science.
