The Prism of Humility
Humility's
keen prism glass
Accepts Mind's light and lets it pass,
Like sunlight's vivid rainbow stream,
Unspent in source-dependent beam.
This beam's effulgence, held in trust,
Can thwart the grasp or jealous thrust
Of pride, because it stands designed
With strong immunity by Mind;
But this same light, safe-poised and free.
Imparts to clear humility
An infinite secure display,
With God as source, with man as ray.
