By invitation there were eleven addresses given to groups of young people of other denominations. Among this number were addresses given at an upstate Methodist ministers' association and before a group of theological students. Sincere appreciation was expressed by each group. Following another address, an entire group of young people attended a Wednesday evening meeting in the branch church of which the one who delivered the address was a member.

In one of the leading textbooks on American literature, there was an article on Mary Baker Eddy and her writings. The article had been written many years ago by an author who since has changed his views regarding Christian Science has seen proof of its healing efficacy, and has recognized the great literary ability of its Discoverer and Founder. The book is used extensively in institutions of learning as an authority on American literature.
