Signs of the Times
Obedience to Moral Law a Necessity
Dr. Rollin H. Walker
The Christian Advocate, Chicago, Illinois
The writer once asked a freshman class, "How do you know that the Ten Commandments came from God?" The face of a boy immediately lighted up and he said, "Because He enforces them." He could not have made a better answer, for whenever a person or a nation repudiates the Ten Commandments things at once go wrong....
The unique thing about them is their inclusiveness. They seem to cover every relation of man to God and to his fellows.... The Ten Commandments are written in the very nature of our social structure. They could no more be repealed than the law of gravitation.
