Omnipotence

ANNE BROOKS SHUMATE

Dear Father, when I clearly see
That power alone belongs to Thee.
And feel Thy presence very near.
Deny all thoughts of pain and fear
In my desire to honor Thee—
As dawns upon my waking sense
The all-power of omnipotence—
I joyful rise, for in that hour
Are proved Thy healing love and power.
