It is with deepest gratitude to God that I desire to verify my daughter's testimony.

Upon entering the hospital her sister asked the ambulance driver how she could get in touch with a Christian Science practitioner. He gave her a telephone book and she called a Christian Science practitioner, to whom we are all very grateful. The practitioner told us to reverse all the material laws which the doctors and nurses had voiced, because God is the only lawmaker and His laws are all good and harmonious.

Our daughter was black from her head to her feet. The doctor said she did not have a chance, but if she should live she would always be blind, and would have to be re-educated. Through absolute trust in the omnipresence of God, and knowledge that man is the spiritual idea of God, the material laws were proved powerless, and she does not bear a mark from the accident.
