Christian Science Committee on Publication for Great Britain and Ireland Reports

Editors have been generous, in view of the shortage of newsprint, in supplying space for lecture reports, Lesson-Sermon excerpts, and other items regarding our movement, and we are grateful not only for this but for the high standard that has in general been maintained by the press during difficult years.

In all, during the year, fifteen statements in newspapers and other periodicals have required a reply. References to Mrs. Eddy and remarks on Christian Science which needed correction have appeared in books of various kinds during the year.

Our position with regard to broadcasting has undergone no change during the current year. Our only direct contact with the British Broadcasting Corporation was connected with a misstatement regarding Christian Science made during the course of a meeting of the brains Trust.
