A friend, on returning some Sentinels lent to her, said, "The testimonies are very beautiful, but why is it none of them are from Australia?" This question awakened me to the fact that through procrastination I had failed to add my song of praise and thanksgiving for Christian Science and the many blessings and healings that have come to me since I took up the study of this wonderful practical religion.

Christian Science was presented to me when I was in great trouble, physically and mentally, and it has changed my whole outlook on life. Even before I began studying I experienced healings, one being of insomnia after a loved one read from the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. After taking up its study for myself, I found I had been healed of goiter. For nine years I had suffered with this trouble, doctors having failed to give me any lasting relief. No specific work was done about it and I never knew when the healing came. One day I just realized that the growth had disappeared. The healing has been permanent. Since then Christian Science has been my only physician, and I am humbly grateful to be able to say I have not missed one whole day from work through illness for eleven years.

I should like to express my gratitude for our periodicals, especially for our daily newspaper, The Christian Science Monitor. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and previous membership in a branch church, also for the great joy and privilege of serving in a local group at present.
