Certainty

Because I know
That spring returns
And dawns appear,
Now can I trust
That Love will triumph over hate
And doubt and fear.
As surely as
The bud unfolds
Its beauty rare,
So shall I see
Emerge that shining selfhood, man,
As perfect, fair.
