"Trust in the Lord with all thine...

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths" (Prov. 3:5,6). What a wealth of wisdom there is in these lines! I have many times proved the value of obeying this statement. In this way I was led to a loving and consecrated teacher for class instruction, for which I am most grateful.

Words cannot express my gratitude to God for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and for the great good her shining example has given to the world; for our blessed Way-shower, Christ Jesus; for membership in The Mother Church and in a Christian Science Society; for the Christian Science Sunday School; for all of the literature, the lecturers, and our loving practitioners.

Two healings stand out in my thought at this time, one of which was the healing of nosebleed, from which our daughter had suffered since a very small child. One day when she was about fifteen years old, she came home from school saying that her nose had been bleeding most of the day. We declared that because blood did not support life, it could never destroy it, and that because God is All, nothing unlike Him is real. She retired feeling much more at ease, but about two o'clock in the morning she called to me saying that the bleeding still continued and that she was becoming very weak. My husband and I drove one half mile to a neighbor to call a practitioner, and when we returned my daughter was sleeping. In the morning a long clot which had formed slipped out of her nostril. She has never had a nosebleed since that experience.
