The Christian Science Practitioner
In
deep humility she took my hand
And led me toward the light that I might see,
Then stood aside to let me view alone
The risen Christ and immortality.
Not to some distant place beyond the skies,
Nor to a hill in far-off Galilee,
For clearer vision do I lift my eyes;
At mine own table Christ does sup with me.
