For more than twenty years I have experienced many blessings and much joy through endeavoring to follow the Principle that Jesus proved to be divine. Healings have been numerous, and each healing has brought me a little closer to the understanding of the omnipotence and omnipresence of God, who is Life, Truth, and Love.

Several years ago I had a feeling of resentment because I felt I was not receiving the good that I should have. Very soon I realized that resentment is not of God and therefore could be no part of my thinking. I knew also that no evil could touch me provided I followed the way of Truth. This right mental activity resulted in my being relieved of some public work which for some time I had felt that I should not be doing. I had been at a loss as to how to discontinue it, when there was no apparent reason for doing so.

In a few years I had the opportunity to move to a city where I could attend a Christian Science church. Later I had class instruction, and this thorough and systematic study of the divine Principle has helped me to see how necessary it is to "seek... first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness" (Matt. 6:33).
