As a child I turned to Christian Science...
As a child I turned to Christian Science because of its teaching that God is Love. It seemed like the sun coming to my darkened thought, and through the years this sunshine of Christian Science has brought me many blessings.
Often I have received much help through some statement made in a testimony of healing in one of our periodicals, and now I feel it is my joyous privilege to share an experience which may be of help to others.
Several years ago, when my daughter was small, she became very ill. The practitioner who was helping me to see the truth gave me a printed copy of a Christian Science lecture in which was related the story of the Shunammite woman. I was strongly impressed with the fact that this mother never accepted the claim of death, but persisted in declaring, "It is well."
