Gypsy or Prince?
[Of Special Interest to Children]
The story has been told of a little boy who was a prince, the son of a king. One day when he was playing, he ran outside the castle grounds. A band of gypsies came traveling along. The little fellow was pleased with their bright clothes and gay songs, so he went with them. He soon talked like a gypsy, ate like a gypsy, and dressed like a gypsy; in fact, he thought that he was a gypsy.
For several years he journeyed with the gypsies over the hills, camping by the streams and leading their roving life. Then one day this band came roaming back on the castle road. As they passed the castle gate, a man recognized the little boy.
"You are the son of the king," he called; "you are the prince!"
