Leaning on God

CONRAD EIERMANN

When all material aid is gone,
With only God to lean upon,
Expectantly to carry on
Will bring release.

For thought now seeks a higher goal,
Abandons sense, embraces Soul;
Finds man at one with God, and whole—
Finds health and peace.
