When I took up the study of Christian Science the most inspiring chapter in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy to me at that time was the chapter on Fruitage. I read these testimonies with a great desire to understand the teachings of Christian Science and prove to myself its healing efficacy.

I should like to tell of a healing that took place in the home through mental surgery alone. When my eldest daughter was cutting her second teeth they came in very abnormally. She complained that her mouth hurt her. When I looked in her mouth I saw that this needed immediate attention. As I stood there thinking what to do, this thought came to me: If God is our Physician why cannot He be our dentist? With this I took my stand to rely completely on Principle. I knew that what I needed would be revealed to me by infinite Mind.

I remember two things that came to me to do, and I did them obediently. I refused to become offended, no matter what anyone did or said to me, but loved more. I learned not to look for improvement in matter, but to abide by the words on page 261 of Science and Health, "Look away from the body into Truth and Love; the Principle of all happiness, harmony, and immortality."
