Like many others, I should like...
Like many others, I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science.
During my time in the Army since enlisting in World War II, at the age of eighteen, I have learned to overcome many ruthless attacks of error. I have accomplished much through reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, as well as by reading the Sentinel and The Christian Science Monitor.
During my basic training period obstacles arose, but by right thinking and the application of what I learned in my daily study of the Lesson-Sermon, I was able to let spiritual sense guide me. At the end of that month my examination marks were high, my rifle score was above average, and daily tactics came very easily for me.
