In the Preface to "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mary Baker Eddy writes (p vii), "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." The truth of these words unfolds more fully each day as I study Christian Science. I desire to tell others of this sustaining power through my testimony, which is submitted with gratitude for the many blessings I have received through Science.

I shall always be grateful that I lived next door to a sincere and devoted student of Christian Science who presented it to me. In a time of great distress I asked her if there was a way out. She assured me that there was, and helped me to start on my way from sense to Soul, as revealed through Christian Science. She stood by me for many years, encouraging me with loving-kindness and patience.

I have had so many wonderful healings I hardly know which one to relate. I should like to tell of an instantaneous healing which came to me through my own application of Science when I had been studying it but a few years. While vacationing in the mountains I was struck on the arm by a heavy timber, which fell from the roof of the house. Before I lost consciousness I realized that all is Mind. When I came to and was able to talk, my husband wanted me to go to a doctor. I refused, in spite of the fact that my husband felt this was a foolish stand to take because there was a large lump on my arm.
