Mary Baker Eddy, a sincere follower of our beloved Way-shower, Christ Jesus, has given us the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," which unlocks the treasures of the Bible. For the many blessings that have come into my life since I first took up the study of Christian Science, I am indeed grateful.

Brought up with a great expectancy of impending evil, and suffering much illness, I was first healed in Christian Science through reading Science and Health. When I began to understand that God has created only good, and that man is made in His image and likeness, and is consequently perfect, I caught my first glimpse of divine Principle, Love. With this new and true view of being came the healing of fear and also of an internal condition of long standing, which had been pronounced incurable by physicians.

Rearing two children in Christian Science offered many opportunities to prove the power of Truth. So-called children's diseases, burns, sprains, scalds, dislocations, poisoning, a mastoid condition, as well as many unlovely traits of character, were overcome, some instantaneously, some more slowly, but all through reliance on Truth alone.
