I have been so blessed through applying the truth revealed in Christian Science in the past twenty-five years, I could never express my gratitude in words.

When we received word from the government that our son, a pilot, had been shot down over Germany, I called a practitioner and asked her to work for him. She said she would. She also said: "Don't let fear enter your consciousness for one minute. Remember God is there." The family held to the truth and some time later we received word from the boy from North Africa, assuring us that he was well and would soon be home. We later learned that the crew had landed on enemy soil, but had been reunited in seven days. They were missing for thirty-nine days, but we know they were never missing for a moment from the sight of God. Through divine help our son was sustained, protected, and brought home.

With this demonstration the way for class instruction opened up for me, and what a feast of spiritual food! For this I am grateful. Where to stay, however, seemed to present quite a problem. I called the same practitioner. She reminded me that, in the words of a hymn.
