God Is

God is my joy in the morning
That heralds a glad new day;
God is my strength at noontide.
When trials beset my way;
God is my peace at twilight,
When evening shadows fall—
His arm upholds me, His love enfolds me;
God is All.

God is the Love that surrounds me
As I journey day by day;
His is the wisdom that guides me
Along the upward way.
God is my Father-Mother;
I am safe in His tender care,
Mind that directs me, Love that protects me—
God is everywhere.
