Signs of the Times
The Way
Sir Stafford Cripps, M. P., as quoted in
The Isle of Ely and Wisbech Advertiser
Cambridgeshire, England
Suffering humanity calls us who believe in Christ to help find the way out of this abyss of suffering. We know that way: we have an ever-present guide in Christ, but we must walk the path ourselves as individuals if we would lead others.
A great opportunity shines in front of us beckoning us out of the gloom of war and past tragedies. May God give us the strength and courage to seize that opportunity and to hold to it in the years that lie ahead.
