It is with sincere gratitude to...
It is with sincere gratitude to God for Christ Jesus, and for the teachings of Christian Science as revealed to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, that I confirm my husband's testimony.
All our problems seemed to come at the same time. I had hemorrhage of the brain, high blood pressure, and paralysis of the right side, and my sight was nearly gone. A doctor who was called advised that my husband, who was away from home, be sent for immediately, because I could not possibly live more than three or four days.
My husband arrived and insisted that I would be all right; that my life was "hid with Christ in God" (Col. 3:3); that since Life is eternal, ever present, it was impossible for me to express anything but eternal life. He said he had engaged a practitioner to work for both of us and all was well. His calm assurance convinced me that Christian Science is the truth and that the troubles could be proved powerless. All sickness has vanished and I am again active, strong, and healthy, as I was earlier in life. Over two years have elapsed since I was taken ill.
