I am humbly grateful to God...
I am humbly grateful to God for all the blessings bestowed on mankind; especially for the coming of Christ Jesus, with his abundant proofs of man's heritage as a son of God. Christ Jesus promised he would pray the Father to send another Comforter, who would bring all things to our remembrance, and I am grateful that the world is awakening to the fact that this divine Comforter has come in the teachings of Christian Science.
I have enjoyed many healings and blessings. I have seen a business project, with which I am connected, that seemed destined to utter loss and failure, turned into a complete success. Almost all one night I worked as we are taught in Christian Science, before signing agreements the following morning. I can now see that I was being divinely led. Although the way did not seem clear, and all connected with the transaction were opposed to going forward with the business according to the proposed plans, I succeeded in having it continue. This proved to be the turning point from failure to signal success. The opposition has since admitted that the plan followed was correct. I wish here to extend my sincere gratitude to the patient, loving practitioners who worked for me at different times on this problem.
I am also grateful for a quick healing of the ill effects of an accident. I was struck by an automobile while riding on a scooter on a Sunday afternoon. I was able to roach a telephone and call for help from a practitioner. The work was taken up, and at a testimony meeting in a Christian Science church the following Wednesday evening I was able to testify that all was well.
