"They answer with rejoicing"
With the complete and final revelation of absolute Christian Science fully available in the writings of our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, why do we need and what is the purpose of the Christian Science periodicals?
One student, hard pressed by accumulated daily duties and by the subtle argument of "not enough time for everything," found the answer in an unexpected way. Because he barely had time for his daily study of the Lesson-Sermon, and his periodicals were piling up, unopened and unread, he yielded to the argument and asked that his periodicals be discontinued for a short time, at least until he could catch up with his reading. Then, with a false sense of relief for what he had done, he settled back into his routine, content with the thought that he would now have much more time for daily study.
