It is with a heart filled with...
It is with a heart filled with gratitude to God for Christian Science and appreciation of the life and work of Mary Baker Eddy that I send this testimony from "somewhere in France." I have always known the healing and protect ing ministration of Science and have had the privilege of attending the Sunday school of a branch Church of Christ. Scientist. The lessons learned there from the devoted teachers have been of great help to me.
Since entering the armed forces, as well as before, I have had many proofs of God's guidance and care. Physical difficulties, including influenza and upset stomach, have been instantly healed; loneliness and depression have been to a large extent routed, and when they have presented themselves for acceptance, have been quickly overcome.
By recalling the significance of the question. "Do you use profanity?" asked me when joining the ushers' committee of our branch church, I have kept myself from using profanity, and many other temptations associated with Army life have been mastered. Realizing man's complete dominion and at-one-ment with Mind has been most helpful in this connection.
