Pelham Sun
Pelham, New York (First Church).
On Sunday. May 7, 1944, dedicatory services were held in First Church of Christ, Scientist, Pelham, in the morning and afternoon.
Christian Science services were first held in Pelham on Sunday, May 6. 1928. Since that time, steady progress has been maintained.
In 1929, a building lot was purchased by the membership, made possible by generous contributions. In 1935. an offer by a member of the church to erect a building on the church property was presented to the membership and accepted.
First Church of Christ. Scientist. Pelham, located at Colonial Avenue and Wolf's Lane, is a handsome red brick structure of colonial architecture, so designed that a gallery may be added at any time it is desired.
